Hello! My name is Sandy Hardy. I am a fun-loving, family-centered girl who loves to create beautiful things.  I am rarely serious, a lover of diet Pepsi and the color pink. I am driven and passionate, and quite the creative soul. I am a professional hobbiest…forever avoiding the 9-5 desk job. I prefer to be on the wild and free side. Designing and making jewelry is my passion, and I love being able to share this gift with others. 

In 1991, I decided to quit my fulltime job as a hair stylist and an aesthetician so that I could stay at home with my kids (while still doing a little hair on the side). I had lots of extra time after they had gone to bed in the evenings, so I decided to make crafts and simple pieces of jewelry to sell.  Back then I began my business as Southern Charm. That’s when things really got exciting and I began selling my jewelry wholesale to places like Ribbons on Peoria and Pavilion. I loved connecting with other people who shared my love of pretty things. I also enjoyed the excuse to go to Market. J

I started selling things I made at local craft shows - like the Harvest Moon Arts & Crafts Show in Tulsa. In 2005, I took a metal smithing class at Waterworks/ New Block Park. I then traveled to Phoenix, AZ and participated in a week long work shop to be certified in teaching precious metal clay (level 2). With my new training, I then began creating more intricate pieces of jewelry.

Unfortunately, health issues kept me from pursuing my jewelry making for a time. But now, as my health is on the mend, I have been able to pick it back up. In November of 2013, I rebranded, formed a support team, and launched my business again as Sandy Hardy Designs. I am thrilled to be able to once again share my love of beautiful jewelry with you.
